Marina Murphy is a highly respected Organisational Psychologist and Leadership Coach with more than 20 years of experience strengthening leadership and shaping thriving cultures across Australia and Asia.

 

Throughout her career, Marina has specialised in organisational development, with deep expertise spanning leadership and talent development, workplace culture strategy, executive and team coaching, employee experience design, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her approach is grounded in psychology and guided by a belief in the transformative power of people and of workplace culture. 

 

At REA Group, Marina’s experience in these fields culminated in a multi-year cultural transformation, recognised with the Human Synergistics Culture Transformation Award - one of Australia’s most significant achievements in culture change.  Her work also contributed to REA’s consistent recognition as a top five Great Place to Work over three years.

 

Today, through Marina Murphy Consulting, she partners with forward-thinking organisations to co-create high-performing and inclusive workplace cultures, future-ready leaders at all levels, and exceptional teams.  Drawing on her foundation in psychology and years as an executive leader, Marina brings a rare combination of compassion and candour to her work. In both her consulting and as an experienced leadership coach, she is known for delivering thought-provoking insights that shift mindsets, and for her ability to coach through challenge - with warmth, care, and unwavering support.

 

Marina is a formally qualified Organisational Psychologist, an Accredited Organisational Coach (IECL), an Accredited Mental Health First Aid leader, and a Certified Lifeline Counsellor. She is also accredited in a range of tools that support her work including LSI & OCI (Human Synergistics), Wave (Saville), OPQ (SHL), DiSC, HBDI (Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument), and CliftonStrengths.
